History

Access Plans, Inc. became the name of our Company in December 2009.  We had previously been known as Alliance HealthCard, Inc.  The corporate name was changed to better identify our business activities as a developer and distributor of a whole range of membership plans, discount services, discount healthcare programs and insurance plans.

We are an international marketing company providing a broad range of consumer discount membership plans and insurance. Program components range from discounts on medical, dental and pharmacy to groceries, restaurants, travel, automotive and a host of others, and can also include specialty insurance and product service. The Company's plans are sold to consumers primarily through retail, rent-to-own, financial and consumer finance clients. The Company is the largest membership plan provider in the specialty rent-to-own market space. We perform turnkey programs including design and fulfillment of marketing pieces and collateral support material, network support, customer service, regulatory compliance, and billing.

The Company was founded as Alliance HealthCard, Inc. in 1998 as a provider of discount medical plans with its focus on creating, marketing, and distributing membership savings programs primarily to the underserved markets in the United States. Its original programs offered attractive savings in approximately 16 areas of health care, including physician visits, hospital stays, chiropractic, vision, dental, pharmacy, hearing, and patient advocacy, among others. In February 2007, Alliance HealthCard completed a merger with Benefit Marketing Solutions (BMS), the largest club provider in the rent-to-own market space. This merger greatly expanded the Company’s business scope to include programs that offer discount savings on dining and entertainment, automotive, legal and financial, as well as insurance programs for leased property replacement, involuntary unemployment, accidental death and dismemberment, and product service. In April 2009, Alliance HealthCard completed its acquisition to Access Plans USA, Inc. that increased the Company’s discount medical plan member base and included dental and vision discount networks.

In June 2012 Access Plans, Inc. merged with Aon Affinity, Inc. The company now has the ability to market its products worldwide.
